Reiki with Haleh Nematzadeh (Community Healing Series)

The Bushwick yoga studio Loom Yoga Center is offering Reiki sessions with Haleh Nematzadeh on a sliding-scale of $25-$40. Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing.

Drummer’s Grove at Prospect Park

A long time Prospect Park staple, drummers and percussionists bring their own instruments for an impromptu jam session. What started out as an informal gathering has now become a 40 year old plus tradition. The audience is encouraged to dance, and arts & crafts and food are often for sale.

Where: Drummer’s Grove, Prospect Park, Parkside and Ocean Avenues
